Join company as a change agent to lead the Global Product Center to drive Group’s OEM/ODM business for video and other security products. The Global Product Center (GPC) is a newly created centralized, shared services organization comprising product management, sourcing, engineering, and quality functions to deliver video devices (e.g. cameras, recorders) and other security products via in-house and OEM/ODM suppliers to Group’s businesses in Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

The Director of Video and OEM/ODM Products is based on Shenzhen/Shanghai/Hongkong, China with significant travel to markets/ customers/ regional businesses in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions, and headquarters in Melville, NY. The position will report to the Vice President, Global Marketing.

This multi-site leadership role has overall responsibility for video hardware/ devices and OEM/ODM programs in terms of supplier and product management to deliver the right products in a timely and cost effective manner. He/She will develop short and long range plans to support Security Group’s businesses in Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

Successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

•Build a cross functional team to run the Global Product Center. Provide ongoing leadership, coaching to the team. He/She will “own” the end to end operations and performance of GPC
•Develop detailed processes to run the GPC operations, and performance metrics to monitor and continuously improve GPC performance
•Work with the businesses in Americas, EMEA, and APAC to understand their product requirements and develop/ deliver on product roadmaps in a timely, cost effective manner. Establish business metrics and targets (productivity, cycle time, quality etc)
•Identify, screen, qualify, develop, and maintain a preferred supplier base for OEM/ ODM projects. Partner with sourcing/ISC (who own supplier agreements and factory operations) to drive standardized supply agreements and drive continuous improvement based on key quality, performance metrics

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Proven experience as a leader and a change agent. Experience owning P&L responsibility and running a line of business highly desirable
• 15 years or more experience in fast cycle consumer/ industrial products businesses, with at least 10 or more years experience in video/CCTV products. Strong understanding of video/CCTV markets and technologies
• Deep experience in developing and driving supplier, OEM/ODM relationships in emerging and developed markets
• Strong product management and project management experience
• Experience in managing multiple, complex projects and changing priorities, making sound decisions and working effectively in a matrix environment
• Experience in managing multi site, multi culture in in-house/3rd party house design products design & development environment. In CCTV a plus
• Strong written & oral communication skills in English (required) and Mandarin (highly preferable)
